Seovara is operated by Alade Web & SEO ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Seovara, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and authentication details, handled via our database provider, Supabase.
• Website and business data you provide: URLs you add for auditing, business name, address, phone number, and city you enter for local SEO checks, keywords and competitor domains you choose to track, and prompts you submit for AI visibility checks.
• Billing information: your subscription plan and payment status. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Paystack; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: basic logs needed to operate the service (e.g. when an audit ran, whether it succeeded).

2. How we use this information

We use your information to run the audits, rank checks, competitor comparisons, and AI visibility checks you request, to generate the explanations and recommendations shown in your dashboard, to process subscription payments, and to send you account-related emails such as sign-up confirmation and billing notices.

3. Third-party services we use

To provide Seovara's features, your data is processed by the following services, each under their own privacy terms:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — application hosting
• OpenAI — generates plain-language recommendations and runs AI visibility checks. Only structured findings from our checks are sent, never your account credentials.
• DataForSEO — provides search ranking data for your tracked keywords
• Paystack — processes subscription payments
• Resend — delivers account emails (confirmation, billing notices)

4. Data retention

We retain your account and audit history for as long as your account is active, so you can track changes over time. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain billing records by law.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, including under Nigeria's NDPR, the UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA, Australia's Privacy Act, or South Africa's POPIA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

6. Cookies and analytics

Seovara uses only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies within the application.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including row-level access controls so your data is only ever accessible to your own account, and encrypted connections throughout.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
